Full featured 406 MHz global GMDSS Approved Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon that comes with a manual release bracket and packs a host of features into a compact modern design which includes AIS technology.

Ocean Signal’s EPIRB3 enhances maritime safety with advanced features designed for faster and more reliable rescues. This GMDSS-approved Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon utilizes a dual-frequency distress signal: a 406 MHz digital alert for global satellite notification via the Cospas-Sarsat system, and a simultaneous AIS (Automatic Identification System) VHF broadcast for immediate local beacon detection.

Dual-Frequency Signaling: Global (406 MHz) and local (AIS VHF) distress alerts for comprehensive rescue coverage.

Return Link Service (RLS): Visual confirmation of successful distress message reception.

Multi-Homing Signals: 121.5 MHz homing signal, combined with visible and infrared strobe lights, for precise location pinpointing.

Near Field Communication (NFC): Smartphone app compatibility for easy battery and functionality checks.

These features enable quicker location and retrieval, significantly improving rescue efficiency in all conditions.
